Our meat birds really go outside in the morning. We’ve all heard of the “free range” birds that actually stay inside all the time, but that’s not the case with our birds. They all go inside at night by themselves now, and we just shut the door to keep them safe from predators. Then, in the morning, they’re ready to go outside again as soon as they possibly can. They really like the morning and evening times, and in the middle of the day, they’ll probably rest in their coop again for a while.
